paperwhite 35
This is the Yupo fragment of the larger page, but the most successful part.

Eh! Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. And sometimes it's just boring.

paperwhite 3
A bit of pointellism today. It's a long growing season. And it will be interesting to try to wary this paperwhite day by day.

paperwhite 2
Ah! the paperwhite. I think Im going to "do" this paperwhite (or maybe one or all of its 4 siblings, lurking on the kitchen window sill) until they bloom and die. I may bore myself to tears, and probably those four people a week who look at this blog, but I will learn a lot about paperwhites. We all will.

red maple leaf rubbing
So interesting... this is on Yupo paper, with a #9B Lyra graphite. That silvery sheen was totally unexpected.

Happy Anniversary to C&C. Ten years.
These are my poor interpretation of my new shoe laces. Shoe laces? They're elastic (I prefer to think of them as cute, easy on/off rather than the result of my orthopedic adventures), and apple green (why be shy?).

Adorable little pill dispenser I swiped from the hospital. Of course theirs usually comes with opiates. But I liked the folded, swirly, paper pattern too.

Wow! Post # 490. Getting closer to those poetic titles. Stay tuned.
This the Big Guy's birthday. Oldest guy I ever slept with. If I could sleep. Im so exhausted. Up all night and sleepy and woozy all day.
Being on crutches has put my poor shoulder into overdrive. Hurts like hell. As soon as I can walk, Im calling the shoulder guy to see if I can move up the repair date.
Instead of a winter of discontent, this will be my winter of oxycodone.

Lesson #1: wait until the paint dries before trying to tilt it up to photograph it.
Lesson #2: Sigmund Freud is alive and well. I saw this bag as "interesting." Actually I should be breathing into it... I'm so anxious, I'm on the edge of hyperventilating.
It does look a little ephemeral... a melting paper bag.

Yay! Post #480.
This is a sweet little green skinned apple with a charming pink blush. Sounds like some oenologist waxing rhapsodic over a glass of red.
Next time someone puts me on speakerphone for a purportedly private conversation he is going to get reason to never do it again.

A piece of Trader Joe's biscotti. Not bad, certainly easier than baking. Maybe less tempting, too.
Signed wills, won'ts, trusts, powers of attorney and health care proxies. They say it takes a village, well to get all your ducks in a row it takes a small forest to supply the paperwork.

I bought the gladiolus' at Trader Joe's. A little wilted but a lot cheap. And a pretty pink color. These flowers get a bad rep as a funeral flower. Actually they are tall, slender and graceful. Well, Im one for three as a flower metaphor.
I wish the "permanent" sharpie pen wouldnt smudge on the Yupo. Annoying as can be.

Fall starts sometime today. Good, I think. That much closer to spring. I should stay in the moment.
This is lunch. California roll with Masago. I had to ask... it's flying fish roe (the orange dot things). Yummy, but how do you catch a flying fish? net? line? And how do you know they are female?
Too much... who cares... tastes good.

Happy First Anniversary A&G! This isnt paper, but it's on paper. Actually on Yupo, a form of paper. New Age paper. Probably never dissolves into the landfill. Permanent paper... sounds better than the drawing equivalent of the plastic bag.
The same sunflower, drooping and dying, but looking more and more interesting in its decline.

Only thirty more posts to my goal of incorporating fey and poetic titles.
Back to blueberries, but these have a bit of a circus feel. Happy blueberries.

A date, can you tell? Yummy in any event. I have to take iron for a while. Maybe these will forestall the inevitable constipation. Way too much information. Sorry.
