green grapes

semi-blind drawing of green grapes... one of the treats of winter

paperwhite 30

Wow! Thirty days of paperwhites. And a partridge in a pear tree.
Lightly drawn with a sharpie and then Elmer's Glue. If this ever dries, within my lifetime, I wonder how it will take to gouache?

mea culpa

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa. I missed yesterday... and it was All Saint's Day to boot.

This is truly the end of the season. Pulled up "Little Alice" the tomato plant (she gave me 4 lovely, yellow, pear tomatoes. It was like eating one's young. Yum.
The weather is turning colder, although we might still have an Indian Summer (is that politically correct anymore... doubt it) heat wave.

Same dear old dead sunflower. Cant stay away from it.
Went to "hip class" today. Oh my. I know they were trying to be reassuring, but my anxieties are really rolling along. Im good friends with 3am.

This would be something like "Inevitable Decline."
Speaking of which... I think I missed the Celebrex capsule yesterday. Wow! I didnt think it did much, but boy was I hurting, all day. I guess it does work, tamps down some of the discomfort... doctor-speak for screaming pain.
Pre-op appointment this afternoon. No pain would be a nice result. It's really wearing.
