This is truly the end of the season. Pulled up "Little Alice" the tomato plant (she gave me 4 lovely, yellow, pear tomatoes. It was like eating one's young. Yum.
The weather is turning colder, although we might still have an Indian Summer (is that politically correct anymore... doubt it) heat wave.
