Released from the sling!
That and trying not to miss too many more days will do me well.

Yea! another material to fiddle around with: Conte crayons in white, bistre and sepia. A real blast from the past.

Oops! missed two days. I shall not obsess. I shall not obsess. I shall not obsess.
An interpretation of the root system. Im not OCD enough to map out the real thing.
One week to go until shoulder repair day (a bicep tenonesis). I shall be left handed for a while. Left handed and loopy on pain meds. A potentially interesting combination.

My glorious pink poinsettia turned up today, so while I still did the everlovin' paperwhite, the pp (pink poinsettia) is the star of the show in my house.

Oops! Missed yesterday.
Collage from the Sunday New York Times Magazine Section with a snippet of Arches paper.
Eleven days until shoulder repair and th "opportunity" to be left handed for a while.
Yikes!

Went to the SMFA Winter Sale. They sure arent shy about prices. Maybe they would sell more if they priced it a bit more modestly. Isnt it better to sell something than admire it on the gallery wall?
Didnt buy a thing, but a sheet of this lovely black paper (Arches?) and a white marker. I dont know what it is, a cross between chalk and a pencil... chawcil?
