Can you tell I've been to the farmer's market? A single stalk of sunflower, displayed artily (that's not a word). Big bang for three bucks.
Im certainly liking the gouache inasmuch as it's much more robust than watercolor. The turd-like quality of the dried stuff on the palette I could live without. Unfortunately DickBlick doesnt have the sealed palette which would keep everything moist. They have it in the catalogue, but I refuse, on principle, to pay for shipping. And I certainly dont have $200 to order to get free shipping. So be it.
